ComeToJakarta.com is a website owned by Aliakbar, an Indian expatriate who has lived in Jakarta for the last 5 years. Like me, he enjoys writing and giving his bird eye view of Indonesian lifestyle. He constantly challenges what he sees about Indonesia, but at the same time speaks of the country with much passion and admiration.

One of the most creative stories Ali has ever written was of an imaginary tale of the life and tribulations of a crisp Indonesian monetary note which he called "I am Rp.100,000."

A while back, Ali asked me if I could answer a set of 10 questions for an article he wished to put up on his website, and I agreed. (The patient man had to wait two months before he got anything out of me...! :P) So here they are (finally):

CometoJakarta.com is no longer online. Ali now lives in Penang, Malaysia and maintains a website he lovingly calls ClickPenang.com!
