The world has spun off its axis for it has come to
this: Myindo.com is now officially an encylopedic entry in the Indonesian
version of Wikipedia!
It is located at http://id.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fairy_Mahdzan
I discovered the page during a routine session of Googling
my name last week (you should try it! You never know what you'll find).
This piece of work was impeccably written in Bahasa Indonesia so there's
no way you can accuse me of staging my own Indonesian encyclopedic entry
- I couldn't do it to save my life and would probably bring perpetual
shame to legit Indonesian writers everywhere if I did.
The Wikipedia tulisan rintisan or stub (an entry that is not
long enough to be called an article) outlined quirky details of my work
that only a regular MyIndo.com reader could possibly remember enough to
write about.
I don't know who started this Wikipedia entry on "Fairy
Mahdzan" as names of contributors remain anonymous on the open online
encyclopedia (it is the Wikipedia way).
But whoever you are and wherever you may be, I'd like
to say:
TERIMA KASIH BANYAK-BANYAK!
(And to the folks who might want to expand the
stub into a full fledge Wikipedia article some day, I thank
ye in advance!  )
