Episode 1 - Valley Forge Military Academy
in Wayne, Pennsylvania, USA
My friend Lorelei in the USA had a raving mad idea to do a silly web page series about the travels of a MyIndo.com messenger bag she purchased for her children. It's kind of like Beans Around the World, but on a smaller and less significant scale, and involves a garishly yellow satchel instead of a can of stale black beans! I sincerely just want to see how far the MyIndo.com logo will travel when toted around by Lorelei's kids! :)

Hi, Fairy,
Here is a photo of my roving myindo.com bag.
It's not great, but it is at a pretty famous place.
It's on the parade grounds of Valley Forge Military Academy in Wayne, Pennsylvania. That is Eisenhower Hall in the back.
This is the very parade grounds that were featured in the movie Taps, staring Sean Penn, Timothy Hutton and Tom Cruise before he was a household name. Taps was filmed at this school, but it was called Bunker Hill Academy for the movie.
My son Victor just finished summer camp there. He won best overall rider for the camp and camper of the year for his age group; he's the one on the white horse in the photo below, so you can see what the area is really used for.
We think some of the horses were in the movie too. The horses are all about 25 years old. Boys come from all over the world to go to this camp. His roommate this year was from Peru - he is American but Father in the foreign service all the kid's life.
So your logo has now been in the same place as Tom Cruise once was...exciting, huh? I know I am yawning right now!
I just have not gone anywhere really world famous lately! I bet some of the myindo.com readers will know Valley Forge Military Academy.
Later,
Lorelei
Have bag, will travel! :-) |
